Lichtmodulation
Optische Modulationstechnologie ist eine Modulationstechnologie, die ein informationstragendes Signal auf eine Trägerwelle überlagert. Die Lichtmodulation kann bestimmte Parameter von Lichtwellen, wie Amplitude, Frequenz, Phase, Polarisationszustand und Dauer, nach bestimmten Regeln ändern. Das Gerät, das Lichtmodulation realisiert, wird als Lichtmodulator bezeichnet.
